Thank you! Mom to medical twins here in TX and it takes so much work, time, research, and constant coordination on our own. The programs are so hard to access due to gate keeping, lack of awareness, barriers, so on and so on. Thank you for this. Shared and followed!

Incredible. So many people need those resources. For some reason the healthcare system seems to only direct you if asked specifically. Often you don't even know what to ask.

This is amazing! My son is special needs and we are so lost after his diagnosis.

The National Disability Resource Project (NDRP) is a Colorado-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to helping people with disabilities, their families, and caregivers navigate Medicaid, Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) waivers, and state-specific disability programs. We publish free, plain-language resource guides covering eligibility, application processes, provider networks, and rights for every U.S. state and territory. Whether you're searching for respite services, case management support, supported living arrangements, or help understanding an unmet needs allocation, our state-by-state guides are designed to help you find the right resources faster.
About the National Disability Resource Project
NDRP was founded to address a simple but persistent problem: navigating disability services in the United States is unnecessarily difficult. Eligibility rules, waiver programs, and service models vary dramatically from state to state, and most families learn the system only after a crisis. We exist to compress that learning curve.
Our work spans three areas: state-by-state Medicaid waiver and HCBS guides; plain-language explainers on disability rights, services navigation, and policy; and free legal and educational resources for self-advocates, families, and professionals. NDRP is incorporated in Colorado (Entity ID 20261437207) and recognized as a federal nonprofit (EIN 42-1817941).
